Living in Kato Polemidia, Limassol
A residential municipality west of the centre with schools, hospitals and the shortest commute to the motorway.
Who lives here
Kato Polemidia is one of the largest residential municipalities in Limassol and one of the most balanced. Families, public sector workers and a growing share of relocated professionals live alongside long-established Cypriot households.
It is not a tourist area, which is precisely why prices per square metre remain more rational than the seafront while the amenities are equal or better.
Everyday amenities
The Limassol General Hospital, several public and private schools, supermarkets and the municipal sports facilities are all inside the area. Bus routes run to the centre and the motorway junction is a few minutes away.
Buying here
Stock is dominated by low- and mid-rise apartment buildings rather than towers, so blocks tend to be small and shared costs modest. New A-rated buildings are the exception rather than the rule, which is where a builder-sold residence holds its value.
