One, Two or Three Bedrooms? Choosing a Layout That Lasts
How household stage, resale demand and rental depth should shape the number of bedrooms you buy in Limassol.
Buy for the next seven years
Most owners hold an apartment for roughly seven years. Choose for the household you will plausibly be at year five, not the one you are on the day you sign. A study that converts to a nursery, or a third bedroom that works as an office, is worth more than an extra ten square metres of living room.
What the market re-buys
Two-bedroom apartments have the deepest buyer and tenant pool in Limassol: they suit couples, small families, professionals sharing and short-term visitors. One-bedrooms rent easily but resell to a narrower audience. Three-bedrooms sell more slowly and to a more demanding buyer, so the quality of the building matters more.
Read the plan properly
Look for a real entrance, a kitchen that can take a full-size appliance run, bedrooms that fit a wardrobe wall, and a bathroom you do not walk through the living room to reach. Square metres badly arranged are square metres you paid for and cannot use.
