Molos Promenade, Limassol
The seafront park that changed how the city uses its coastline.
What it is
Molos runs from the old port along the seafront: lawns, sculpture, reed gardens, a cycle path and a shallow pool for children. It is the single most-used public space in Limassol and the reason the city centre feels coastal again.
Best time
Early morning and the hour before sunset. In summer the paving holds heat until late, and the sea breeze arrives before the light goes.
